Sales and marketing

Marketing & event coordinator

Under the supervision of the Marketing and Communications Director, the incumbent coordinates with the entire marketing team in the execution of the various marketing projects, he coordinates the sponsorships/events and he must provide support to the manager of the Relais Boréale in the implementation of its promotional actions. The incumbent is also responsible for the administrative management of the service.


Main responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests from its marketing team, coordinate and ensure the delivery of marketing projects on time;
  • Coordinate and ensure the execution of sponsorships, events and activities a Relais Boréale;
  • Respond to various ad hoc requests from CAD, CSP and Relais Boréale sales teams.
  • Monitor competition actions and trends and make recommendations to strengthen brand equity and increase sales;
  • Continuously update planning tools for the marketing team;
  • Support stakeholders in the writing of presentations and communications;
  • Research and develop promotional tools for Relais Boréale and for the sales department;
  • Monitor the inventory of CAD communication tools and CSP promotional items;
  • Place and complete purchase orders from the various suppliers for CSP itemsl
  • Carry out administrative management for the marketing teams (Follow-up of POs, invoices, sending proofs, updating the budget, etc.);
  • Perform all other related tasks.


Required profile
:

  • University degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a similar position. .
  • Passionate about microbrewery beer and in-depth knowledge of the environment and beer styles (an asset).
  • Autonomous and able to work with a multitude of projects simultaneously with very tight deadlines.
  • Possess a very good sense of organization, a good capacity for analysis and a spirit of synthesis.
  • Mastery of the MS Office suite and very good command of Excel.
  • Must have a vehicle and be willing to travel in Quebec.

Sales representative - Montreal

Reporting to the District Manager, the representative's main mandate is to manage CAD products (home consumption) in department stores and small stores. He is responsible for meeting and exceeding the sales targets for his territory. The work is mainly done on the road.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit customers to execute the marketing and ensure the availability of products on a continuous basis.
  • Ensure the completion of all activities planned in the field sales process in order to achieve results.
  • Work as a team in order to identify opportunities for sales development and marketing of Brasseurs du Nord products.
  • Execute the implementation of promotional strategies adapted for each client while ensuring maximum visibility.
  • Continuously identify changes in the beer market regarding new products, packaging and commercial activities.
  • Ensure an impeccable and creative level of customer service based on customer needs and the company's quality standards.
  • Continuously check the management of product quality, prices and inventories and follow up with the store manager.

Required profile :

  • College diploma or relevant experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the food sector (grocery stores and convenience stores).
  • Experience in direct delivery (DSD).
  • Continuous concern to ensure customer satisfaction and to organize actions in order to achieve the objectives of the company.
  • Knowledge of rep companion, CIS (an asset).
  • Very good physical condition.
  • Good ability to communicate both orally and in writing in French and English.
  • Good driving record.

In factory

Brewer

Reporting to the Brewing Supervisor, the candidate must be able to operate the equipment used for brewing, fermentation, clarification and filtration of beer:

Responsibilities:

• Operate the equipment intended for the production of beer (brewing room, centrifuge, diatomaceous earth filter, etc.)

• Master the brewing, fermentation, clarification and filtration processes

• Equipment washing and sanitation (lines-tanks-equipment)

• Control of the cleaning system in place

• Complete production reports

• Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment;

• Ensure compliance with deadlines according to the production schedule;

• Ensure product quality control throughout the process (including tasting)

• Ensure workplaces are clean and safe

• Perform various manipulations on beer and yeast

• Revision and update of production registers

• Drafting and updating work instructions

• Staff training in the different brewing sectors

Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old

• Diploma in connection with the brewing field or in food processing

• Experience in the brewing, food, pharmaceutical industry

Daily - full time ($ 15,83)

Reporting to the production supervisor, the job holder will have the following responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to production lines as directed.
  • Label cans and place them in trays.
  • Form cardboard trays.
  • Stack beer crates to form pallets.
  • Handle and check different products.
  • Respect established quality standards as well as health and safety standards.

Required profile :

  • High school diploma (an asset).
  • 18 and over (alcohol-based products).
  • Availability to work overtime.
  • Own a car (very limited public transportation).
  • Have safety shoes.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Be able to work physically.
  • Ability to work standing for several hours and lifting loads of more than 30lbs.
  • Versatility and autonomy.
  • Ease of working in a team.

Electromechanic – evening (2pm to 10h30pm)

Reporting to the director of operations, the incumbent sees to the maintenance of all plant equipment and systems in collaboration with team members. He will operate in an environment where sanitation and health and safety are at the heart of the priorities.

Responsabilities :

  • Execute the preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance plan;
  • Performs product format changes on production equipment;
  • Respond to production service calls, provide diagnostics and perform troubleshooting;
  • Participate in the annual equipment shutdown;
  • Occasionally supports subcontractors of external service providers;
  • Participate in the achievement of the effiency objectives of the manufacturing process;
  • Participate in the modification and continuous improvement of production equipement;
  • Participate in new equipment installation projects;

Required profile :

  • DEP Electromechanics/DEC in industrial electronics;
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in the food industry (an asset);
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (Allen, Bradley, an asset);
  • Passionate, Responsible, Autonomous and Resilient;
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team;
  • Diagnosis and resolution of problems;

Sanitation attendant (17h30-2h)

Reporting to the production supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for cleaning for the prewash and disassembling production equipment for efficient cleaning. He operates in a unionized environment where sanitation and health and safety are at the heart of the priorities.

Responsabilities :

  • Perform the cleaning of production rooms, including certain equipment, following the sanitation methods described in the plant plan and procedures.
  • Disassemble and reassemble production equipment as needed in order to clean it.
  • Carry out cleaning and sanitation of production lines as needed.

Required profil :

  • Experience of 1 or 2 in sanitation in an industrial food environment (an asset).
  • Excellent physical condition (being able to lift the necessary loads – 20 kg)
  • Sence of organization and sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail and a sense of a job well done.
  • Able to follow the training for the operation of a lifting platform and WHMIS to work with chemicals.
  • Able to report health problems related to operations.
  • Must have good judgment and be independent.
  • Be able to manage several tasks at the same time.
  • Flexibility : may be temporarily assigned to other production activities or evening shifts to compensate for holidays.

Under the supervision of the logistics and distribution manager, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities :

  • Check the accuracy of orders.
  • Delivering cases of beer and barrels of 30 and 50 liters to our customers.
  • Provide courteous and quality service to customers.
  • Bill customers.

Qualified Candidate :

  • High school diploma (an asset)
  • Class 1 driving license required
  • Knowledge of food industry (an asset)
  • Be available to start early in the morning and flexible schedule
