In factory

Brewer

Reporting to the Brewing Supervisor, the candidate must be able to operate equipment for brewing, fermenting, clarifying and filtering beer, but is not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment intended for the manufacture of beer (brewing room, centrifuge, diatomaceous earth filter, etc.).
  • Control fermentation, clarification and filtration processes.
  • Washing and sanitation of equipment (lines-tanks-equipment).
  • Control of the cleaning system in place.
  • Complete production reports.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met according to the production schedule.
  • Ensure the control of the quality of the product throughout the process (including tasting).
  • Ensure that workplaces are clean and safe.
  • Perform various manipulations on beer and yeast.
  • Review and update of production records.
  • Writing and updating of work instructions.
  • Staff training in the various brewing sectors.

Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Diploma in Food Processing.
  • Experience in the dairy, brewing and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Being able to handle stress.

Project Engineer (food industry)

Under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of major investment projects and must develop, analyze and evaluate various investment applications. The candidate is also responsible for implementing various continuous improvement programs aimed at achieving manufacturing excellence. In addition, the candidate will make a significant contribution to accelerating the implementation of new work methods in order to minimize the overall operational costs of the plant for all production and maintenance services in order to ensure the progress from the company to the operations level.

Responsibilites :

  • Perform technical and financial monitoring of the projects entrusted to it, coordinating the implementation, prepare the specifications, plans, and tenders, and allocate contracts for the projects of the plant.
  • Design, study and develop the investment requests entrusted to it.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to develop strategies through financial and operational site assessments, thereby identifying and prioritizing opportunities for improvement.
  • Set up a Lean philosophy using the set of continuous improvement tools such as: Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, SMED, DMAIC, 5S, Kanban and organize workshops.
  • Participate in the development of capacity standards to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Set up and supervise the implementation of operational KPIs.Define horizontal objectives with different teams, create change around these objectives, remove barriers and implement problem-solving tools to ensure the success of the plant's mission.

Main challenges:

  • Replacement of the glycol line.
  • Increase the capacity of the brewhouse through the purchase of new equipment and the revision of the layout.
    Reorganization of the room of fermentation tanks.
  • Develop and manage CAPEX's annual plan.
  • Improve the productivity of our bottling lines and cans.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in investment project management in the food sector.
  • Relevant training in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • A skilled communicator, a talented facilitator, the ability to mobilize teams to lead change.
  • Proficiency in French and English, spoken and written.

Under the supervision of the Logistics and Distribution Manager, the candidate will be responsible for:


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the delivery person and provide support in the delivery.
  • Make deliveries of beer crates and barrels of 30 and 50 liters to customers.
  • Provide courteous and quality service to customers.

Schedule and working conditions:

  • Full time, permanent, Monday to Friday, day schedule.
  • Possibility of extra time.

Merchandiser - Part time - GATINEAU

Reporting to the manager responsible for all merchandisers, the incumbent will work closely with our representatives and ensure the marketing of our various products according to Boreal standards at our customers in the Gatineau region.

Responsibilities:

  • Rotate products and display prices.
  • Mount the displays.
  • Place the backstore and / or basement products.
  • Look for opportunities for floor spaces.
  • Execute trade agreements.
  • Take the order occasionally.
  • Make tastings in stores.


Requirements:

  • Relevant secondary or college education.
  • Dynamism, team spirit and punctuality.
  • Nice friendly personality and interpersonal skills.
  • Very good physical shape (being able to lift weights of + 30 pounds).
  • Good knowledge of the Gatineau region.
  • Requires to read and understand English.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Good food knowledge (an asset).

Delivery man - Class 3 full time ($ 20.52) - QUEBEC

Under the supervision of the Logistics and Distribution Manager, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities for our clients in the Quebec City region:

Responsibilities:

  • Check the accuracy of orders and perform excellent customer service.
  • Make deliveries of beer crates and barrels of 30 and 50 liters to customers.
  • Provide courteous and quality service to customers.
  • Bill the customers.

Schedule and working conditions:

  • Full time, permanent, 4 days a week, day schedule.
  • Possibility of extra time.
  • Competitive group insurance plan.
  • Group RRSP with employer participation.
  • 40 hours of sick leave after 1 year of service.
  • And a pack of 12 beers free per week!
  • When you are responsible for a road, road bonus of $ 25 a day extra. Regardless of the number of hours worked.
