Sales and marketing

Customer Experience Advisor

Reporting to the Manager of the Relais Boréale, the candidate will be responsible for greeting people, providing personalized service and properly managing the retail space at the brewery. In addition, he will ensure the reception of our offices.

Responsabilisation :

  • Greet all customers and visitors with courtesy in a clean and relaxed environment and direct them to the right places;
  • Respond to queries and questions regarding Boréale's products and history;
  • Take calls professionally, take messages and properly redirect calls;
  • Give details about tour packages and make appointments;
  • Manage the inventory of the shop;
  • Fill the store (beer, promotional items, etc ...);
  • Fill and purge the lines;
  • Evaluate the quality of products;
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the premises;
  • Manage the purchases and the budget of the employees;
  • Properly charge customers on-site (CSP);

Required profile :

  • DEP in secretarial or equivalent schooling;
  • Mastery of French and English;

Marketing & Event Project Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Marketing and Commnications Director, the candidate will coordinates various marketing projects. The candidate evaluates, deploys and executes the various sponsorship plans and the setting up of events during the year with the support of his team of ambassadors. He is also responsible for supporting the Relais Boréale team in setting up the promotional calendar and launching new beers.

Main responsabilities :

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the marketing and communication plans.
  • Coordinate and ensure the execution of sponsorships and events.
  • Coordinate and ensure the delivery of marketing projects in the prescribed time.
  • Update the monitoring of the various projects in progress.
  • Monitor competitive actions and trends and make recommendations to strengthen brand equity and increase sales.
  • Analyze beer category performance and update sales data reports. (Nielsen and market share)
  • Support stakeholders in writing presentations and communication.
  • Set up and animate the Episode program in the CSP.
  • Actively participate in the new product development committee and track timelines.
  • Support the Relais Boréale in its communication and promotional actions.
  • Research and develop promotional tools for the Relais Boréale and for the sales department.
  • Participate in budget monitoring and manage the various budgets related to the projects under his responsibility.
  • Contribute to improve the internal communication of the company (News in cask).

Required profile :

  • University degree in marketing or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Passionate about microbrewery beer and in-depth knowledge of the environment and beer styles (an asset).
  • Autonomous and able to work with a multitude of projects simultaneously with very tight deadlines.
  • Have a very good sense of organization, a good analytical skills and a spirit of synthesis.
  • Mastery of the MS Office suite and very good command of Excel.
  • Must own a vehicle and be willing to travel to Quebec.

In factory

Order picker - Quarternight (14h-22h)

Responsabilities :

  • Prepare beer orders for loading trucks at night.
  • Assemble orders and make sure they are correct before shipping them.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Director of Operations

Reporting to the Vice President Operations, the Director of Operations is responsible for all of the activities of the Blainville factory in a unionized environment. The Director of Operations is also responsible for implementing the various capital expenditure projects (CAPEX) aimed at achieving manufacturing excellence.

Main responsibilities:

  • Organize, direct and control operations to achieve the performance objectives (overall rate of return) established for the factory.
  • Perform technical and financial monitoring of CAPEX projects, coordinate the implementation, prepare quotes, plans, and bids, detail the objectives of the return on investment and allocate contracts for major projects of the plant.
  • Initiate initiatives to improve production processes (continuous improvement) and support the structure in its growth.
  • Create and maintain a motivating and productive work environment for all staff.
  • Participate in negotiating the collective agreement and maintain healthy working relationships.
  • Supervise maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, shutdown, building).
  • Get involved in projects and initiatives related to occupational health and safety.

Required profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with a continuous process producing at high speeds, preferably in a bottling company.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in industrial project management.
  • Knowledge of the HACCP standard.
  • Experience in effectively controlling production and maintenance KPIs.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to properly manage multiple projects priority effectively.
  • Ability to coach, develop, influence and motivate all the factory staff.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly to a changing industry.

Project Engineer (food industry)

Under the responsibility of the Operations Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of major investment projects and must develop, analyze and evaluate various investment applications. The candidate is also responsible for implementing various continuous improvement programs aimed at achieving manufacturing excellence. In addition, the candidate will make a significant contribution to accelerating the implementation of new work methods in order to minimize the overall operational costs of the plant for all production and maintenance services in order to ensure the progress from the company to the operations level.

Responsibilites :

  • Perform technical and financial monitoring of the projects entrusted to it, coordinating the implementation, prepare the specifications, plans, and tenders, and allocate contracts for the projects of the plant.
  • Design, study and develop the investment requests entrusted to it.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to develop strategies through financial and operational site assessments, thereby identifying and prioritizing opportunities for improvement.
  • Set up a Lean philosophy using the set of continuous improvement tools such as: Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, SMED, DMAIC, 5S, Kanban and organize workshops.
  • Participate in the development of capacity standards to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Set up and supervise the implementation of operational KPIs.Define horizontal objectives with different teams, create change around these objectives, remove barriers and implement problem-solving tools to ensure the success of the plant's mission.

Main challenges:

  • Replacement of the glycol line.
  • Increase the capacity of the brewhouse through the purchase of new equipment and the revision of the layout.
    Reorganization of the room of fermentation tanks.
  • Develop and manage CAPEX's annual plan.
  • Improve the productivity of our bottling lines and cans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in investment project management in the food sector.
  • Relevant training in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • A skilled communicator, a talented facilitator, the ability to mobilize teams to lead change.

Reporting to the manager responsible for all merchandisers, the incumbent will work closely with our representatives and ensure the marketing of our various products according to Boreal standards at our customers in the Gatineau region.

Responsibilities:

  • Rotate products and display prices.
  • Mount the displays.
  • Place the backstore and / or basement products.
  • Look for opportunities for floor spaces.

  • Take the order occasionally.
  • Make tastings in stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Check the accuracy of orders and perform excellent customer service.
  • Make deliveries of beer crates and barrels of 30 and 50 liters to customers.
  • Provide courteous and quality service to customers.
  • Bill the customers.

Schedule and working conditions:

  • Full time, permanent, 4 days a week, day schedule.
